Born in Kingston, Jamaica and now residing in Toronto singer Jayd Ink is one of those artists you must get to know because she will be the next big thing. With her first debut album released in 2013 and on her second EP “Invitation Only” in 2016 she has music that has been featured on 50 cent produced Starz Network show Power, she has been featured on music with the king of the south himself T.I. and she is being noticed by top producers within the music industry. Interestingly, inspired by biggie, Tupac, Mary J. Blige and Lauryn Hill. As an original poet the inspiration of Tupac has always been in her writing, but music kind of fell into her lap and it has grown into a passion and now she considers it as an outlet. Jayd Ink uses Tupac as an inspiration when writing and biggie as an inspiration because he had amazing melodies. She is definitely an evolving artist to know about.
